Minute books of the House Committee of Kingsbury Maternity Hospital ( formerly Willesden Maternity Hospital) from 1956 until its final meeting in February 1971. Includes financial material such as statements of accounts and summaries of funds, the Matron's Report and that of the Medical Social Worker, historically known before 1962 as the Almoner.There are other notes and lists concerning members of staff at the hospital, (usually in a domestic or auxiliary capacity), who were over, or approaching, retirement age; in order for the committee to approve the extension of their employment. There is some discussion aswell, as to patient complaints, purchase of provisions and supplies, ward cleanliness and catering etc.
