LinkLine was a company newspaper "for all Elida Gibbs People", which seems to have been published roughly quarterly. When Unilever acquired Chesebrough-Pond's in 1987, they integrated the Chesebrough-Pond's into their Elida Gibbs company. Subjects covered include Project Elektra - the transfer of production and some staff from Willesden to Leeds. The December 1989 issue includes an article about the closure of the Willesden factory. The article covers a brief history of the factory, including its use and bomb damage during the war, along with photographs of the building and of staff. It also explains that the material in this collection was brought together by Viv Lavis for an exhibition shortly before the factory closed.

Archival history
This material appears to have been accumulated by Viv Lavis during the final months of the Willesden Chesebrough-Pond's site, before its closure. She then displayed the material in a museum in the factory during its final months (see December 1989 issue of LinkLine, Ref Code CBP/1/5). Viv Lavis was an Administrative Assistant in the Personnel Department, and also a "Willesden-based roving reporter" for the company's Open Line magazine.
