Miniature cheese dish in two parts. A rectangular base dish with gliding around the outisde and then a trianglar handled cover. Mainly white but with a red shield in the centre. On one side of the shield are two crossed swords which indicate the Dean and Chapter of St. Paul's Cathedrale . On the other side is part of the arms of Middlsex County Council. Three seaxe (Anglo-Saxon notched swords) can be seen. There is a yellow sun at the top of the shield which could be a reference to the Willesden Local Board and at the bottom there is a motto in Latin' Laborare est orare' 'Work is Prayer'. The only marks on the base is the number 125 painted onto the bottom of the dish.
