Miniature vase with circular base and rim. Tapers towards teh rim which has a gold rim. Decorated with a red shield on the front. On one side of the sheild is two crossed swords which indicate the Dean and Chapter of St. Paul's Cathedrale . On the other side is part of the arms of Middlsex County Council. Three seaxe (Anglo-Saxon notched swords) can be seen. There is a yellow sun at the top of the shield which could be a reference to the Willesden Local Board and at the bottom there is a motto in Latin' Laborare est orare' 'Work is Prayer'. Beneath the motto it is marked 'Willesden?. On the base it is marked as ?Royal Ivory Pocrelain Trade Mark Stoke on Trent England?. It is also is marked with '145'. This indiactes the manufacturers were Robinson and Leadbeater Ltd.
