Misbaha are prayer beads used by Muslims to count the number of prayers recited. They typically have 99 beads, corresponding to the 99 names of Allah. Some misbaha have 33 beads, in which case they would be counted three times to make 99. They are commonly made of wood, but can be made from other materials such as plastic. There are several different names for these prayer beads including Tasbih, Sibha and Tespih.
