Ancient Egyptian faience shabti figure, Late or Persian Period. Shabti figure is mummiform, wearing a long wig and false beard, with the arms folded across the chest. The figure appears to be holding something in each hand, though it is unclear exactly what (possibly agricultural equipment, since shabtis were often intended to carry out manual labour on the behalf of the deceased in the afterlife).
