?Sindy? was first introduced in 1963 as a fashion doll for young girls. Unlike lots of other dolls, Sindy wore the latest fashions, which were miniature versions of real-life clothes. ?Shopping in the Rain? was one of the first outfits for created for Sindy. The outfit consisted of a fashionable PVC trench-style raincoat with a belt, matching headscarf, red knee-high boots, umbrella and a handbag. The set also included a newspaper and a bag of oranges.
