These flats were designed by the architect Ernest George Trobridge in Wakeman's Hill, Kingsbury and were built between 1934 and 1936. The building has unusual chimneys. Trobridge designed a number of building in the Tudor style, with timber -framing and elaborate brickwork. The number 8 is visible at the top of the stairs.
