Large two storey-house with lawn in the foreground with a seated group. A young child stands just in front of a seated man and a woman stands behind the man. Another woman is seated, slightly to the left of the group. The people are wearing fashionable clothes of the 1880s-1890s.
Research into the possible identities of the people shown in the photograph including their ethnicities which may include mixed race, black and white has been carried out by Brent Museum and Archives volunteer Alison Harman, and an article has been published, 'Stories of Neasden Stud Farm' in conjunction with an online exhibition, 'By the Cut of their Cloth,' curated by Warren Reilly and Chamion Caballero, 2022.
