George Michael, the famous singer-songwriter, grew up in Kingsbury in the 1960s. When his family first moved to the area, they lived in a flat on Holmstall Parade, Edgware Road, Burnt Oak. This would have been in around 1964, when George was still a baby.
They soon moved to a semi-detached house nearby, 57 Redhill Drive in Burnt Oak. They stayed in this house until around 1976, when George would have been a teenager.
