Photograph of tiled mural on the subway outside Wembley Park station. Shows section of the mural on the east side of the subway.
From left to right: athlete with Olympic torch (representing 1948 Olympics at Wembley); footballers (representing football games at the old Wembley Stadium, with the 'twin towers' in the background); ice skater (representing ice shows at Wembley Arena); and Michael Jackson (just visible) (representing the music concerts at Wembley, including his own record-breaking shows).
The subway was opened in 1993, named in honour of Bobby Moore. A plaque dedicating it to the footballer was unveiled by his widow.
