A behind-the-scenes video of Malika Booker, reading the poems she wrote for Brent Museum and Archive's 2018 exhibition, Brent's Pioneering Windrush Generation. Booker is an international writer whose work is steeped in anthropological research methodology and rooted in storytelling. Two poems were specially commissioned to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush.
