Scope and Content
The Middlesex sheet XVI.5 covers the areas of Acton, Willesden, Twyford, Ealing, Hanwell and Harrow on the Hill. It includes Park Royal. The collection consisits of maps surveyed or revised in 1864, 1895, 1913 and 1935. There are 5 editions of the 1864 map showing the details of Harrow on the Hill Parish, Twyford and Hanwell Parishes, Acton Parish, Ealing Parish and Willesden Parish. The right hand section of the Harrow on the Hill Parish 1864 edition also includes the right hand section of Middlesex Sheet XV.8 for Harrow on the Hill Parish, the 1860's edition.
