Chesebrough-Pond's Ltd

A US-based newspaper published quarterly by Chesebrough-Pond's Inc. Includes Vol. 1 No.1 (July 1955); the Summer 1985 edition, featuring a 'Corporate Histories' segment; and a special 1980 Centennial Issue, charting the history of the company. The July 1955 edition covers the merger of the Chesebrough Manufacturing Company and Pond's Extract Company, with a brief history of each company, and includes photos of their respective Willesden and Perivale factories. There are more editions of Chesebrough-Pond's World in the promotional albums: CBP/3/1/2 and CBP/3/1/4.

This material appears to have been accumulated by Viv Lavis during the final months of the Willesden Chesebrough-Pond's site, before its closure. She then displayed the material in a museum in the factory during its final months (see December 1989 issue of LinkLine, Ref Code CBP/1/5). Viv Lavis was an Administrative Assistant in the Personnel Department, and also a "Willesden-based roving reporter" for the company's Open Line magazine.
