Also Borough of Wembley Building Byelaws under the Public Health Act, 1936, printed 1954. These cover a variety of areas of local governance such as Public Libraries, sale of fuel, disposal of house refuse and various kinds of waste, the handling of noxious matter, information and instruction under the Shops Acts for Shopkeepers and workers/occupiers of licensed premises ( and particularly in relation to weights and measures), alterations to buildings , conduct of council business, regulation of common lodging houses and street trading, drains and sewerage etc. There is also provision for oversight of rag and bone men and Dairies , cowshed & milkshops.
