Scope and Content
The Middlesex sheet XVI.1 covers the areas of Willesden, Twyford, Harrow on the Hill and Wembley. It includes Stonebridge, Wembley and Alperton. The collection consisits of maps surveyed or revised in 1864, 1895, 1913, 1936 and 1954. There are 3 editions of the 1864 map, one showing the details of Willesden Parish, one the details of Twyford Parish and the other the details of Harrow on the Hill Parish. The 1864, Willesden Parish map also includes the right hand section of Middlesex Sheet XI.13, 1863-4 edition showing the details of Willesden Parish.
