Copies of documents, ephemera and photographs, and original photographs (mostly laminated), used ito promote and in displays at: the tribute to the Grunwick workers held in 1978, the 10th anniversary conference, the 30th anniversary commemoration in 2006 and the tribute to Jayaben Desai in 2011. Including laminated copies of original posters for fundraising and solidarity events for the striking workers; original promotional posters for the 10th and 30th anniversary events and the tribute to Jayaben Desai; laminated copies of material from 198722, including letters and newspaper cuttings, as well as material not held at Brent Archives, including the front cover of 'Spare Rib' magazine, Aug 1977, featuring a piece on the Grunwick women; a laminated chronology of the strike. Also includes original and copies of photographs (mostly laminated) of the strike and associated events and people, including: photographs of march to Westminster, 15 Oct 1976; May Day demonstration; workers picketing chemists; Arthur Scargill visiting the picket line; original banners [now preserved in the People's History Museum, Manchester]. Includes images taken by Chris Coates and Andrew Wiard, and from The Morning Star, as well as photographs reproduced from the collections at the Workers Press Photography Archive, The Haldane Society, and the TUC Library
