This series is related to the Pond's Perivale Factory that eventually closed in 1964 and became part of the Chesebrough-Pond's factory in Willesden.

This material appears to have been accumulated by Viv Lavis during the final months of the Willesden Chesebrough-Pond's site, before its closure. She then displayed the material in a museum in the factory during its final months (see December 1989 issue of LinkLine, Ref Code CBP/1/5). Viv Lavis was an Administrative Assistant in the Personnel Department, and also a "Willesden-based roving reporter" for the company's Open Line magazine.
