- Scope and ContentThis album of promotional material seems to have been put together in preparation of the relaunch of the 'Cachet' perfume, part of Chesebrough-Pond's Prince Matchabelli line. The album contains a written backstory of the Prince Matchabelli Company (bought by Chesebrough-Pond's in 1958), including copies of photos of the prince. Other items include adverts for Vaseline and Pond's products dating back to c1900; an original booklet 'Net Price List of the "Vaseline Preparations"' from 1898; a pamphlet "The Silver Question and a Possible Solution of it" by Robert A. Chesebrough (1893); and a written account of a visit to the Pond's factory in Perivale (c.1940).
